During your stay at AMAZON NATIVE LODGE. You will be able to discover and interact with different landscapes of our Amazon. We are located in a primary (virgin) jungle with an abundance of flora and fauna and wonderful lakes. Something that makes us different: We are your perfect refuge in nature.
ITINERARY
° The program starts at 8:30 am
° The full-day program includes sailing down the Amazon River, which is an approximately 45-minute trip on a speedboat.
During your trip, you will be amazed to observe the fusion of colors at the join of the Amazon River and Nanay rivers.
and we will have the opportunity to look at the pink or gray dolphins that are usually there during our trip.
°Once we arrive, we will walk 25 minutes (only in summertime) through the jungle to reach our lodge. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly staff with our traditional welcome drinks made with our local natural fruits.
° The program begins with a visit to the YAHUA indigenous group where we will learn their customs, dances, and the use of the fawn.
° Afterwards, we will visit one of the most famous attractions places called the Serpentarium where you will see many types of exotic animals such as sloths, toucans, monkeys, macaws, and turtles (pre-historic) as well as the most famous constrictor snake called Anaconda, which you can hold and carry on your shoulder.
° Then we walked towards the virgin jungle area to observe the giant trees, including one of the giant trees in our Amazon, better known as The king of the trees CEIBA or LUPUNA, and giant RENACOS and animals in their natural habitat. A typical traditional lunch follows in the restaurant. After lunch at 3 pm we are returning to Iquitos.
